Ukraine: Odessa Massacre
Western-backed fascist brutality
On 2 May 2014, as part of the rising unrest in Ukraine in the aftermath of the 2014 Ukrainian revolution, clashes between pro-Ukrainian and pro-Russian groups broke out in multiple in the streets of Odessa. ... As soon as word spread about the attack by pro-Russian demonstrators, a call by pro-Ukrainian demonstrators to go to Kulikovo Field and destroy the anti-Maidan camp emerged on social networks. As a result, the pro-Russian crowd was later overwhelmed by the pro-Ukrainian demonstrators, and their encampment outside the Trade Unions House building was torched. This forced the pro-Russian activists to enter that building...
Masked gunmen wearing St.George ribbons are coordinated by local police deputy commander Dmitry Fucheji.
...there are claims of complicity between police and activists across the divide.
Available photos reveal that these attackers enjoyed at least neutrality of the local police, while some others evidence that their actions were coordinated by people in police uniform. One of the identified coordinators was deputy chief of the Odessa Interior ministry branch Colonel Dmitry Fucheji.

Trade Union building torched
Eyewitness Serhiy ... said tents in the pro-Russian camp were burning when he arrived and those there had moved to the entrance of the nearby Trade Unions House. "Eventually, they were driven in," he said.
The pro-Russians tried to make a last stand on the steps of the House of Trade Unions, throwing up barricades around the great stone pillars in front of the doors. Finally, they were forced to retreat inside.
As many as 40 people died when a trade union building caught fire during fierce clashes Friday between pro-Russian and pro-Ukrainian demonstrators...
Shouts of anger have become screams of panic and soon people are falling from windows and jumping to escape the inferno; prone on the concrete, some move a little. Most do not.
Andriy Parubiy ... is seen distributing bullet-proof vests to the pro-Kiev militants, including the 33-year-old Maidan Self-Defense activist and later captain of the Interior Ministry's "Storm Battalion", Mykola Volkov.
A web of lies
Who were the gunmen in the city centre on Friday afternoon? Were they among the people who later entered the building and were shooting from there? Where did the Molotov cocktails come from? How did the fire start? Why did the pro-Russian crowd rush into a building instead of running away? Why could the 40 people not escape once the building caught fire? These are some of the unanswered questions now tormenting Odessa.
Another disgusting piece in the western media about the Odessa massacre. People were trapped in the building which was petrol bombed by an angry mob. Those that tried to escape were shot and beaten. Anyone with access to the internet can see that. But instead of tell the truth the Economist, along with other media outlets, are denying the facts and spouting conspiracy theories to cover up a bloody massacre committed by the neo-nazis they back.
